Not playing in collage apps!

When I try to get my boomerang videos in the Layout app (or any collage app for that matter) the clips wont show up or play or both. Help! I cant find anything about this in the support for the app. I love boomerang but this is a major pain! ???

Up until now I had given this a 5 star rating. One of my favorite apps ever and now I just annoyed with it ?
